We're dead! No answers anywhere! Go towards the light!"

Gah!PersonalFailurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03034292023591747601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3456948.post-15127045475295960262010-05-27T12:44:15.173-05:002010-05-27T12:44:15.173-05:00Huh. I don't know why that would be an especially unrepresentative sample, but if it is, it is.Jacob T. The finale was mostly favorably reviewed, receiving a 75 score on metacritic. And, lots of high-profile critics loved it.

Alan Sepinwall, Mo Ryan, Noel Murrey, Ryan McGee, the critic at L.A. Times whose name I forget.

I am ambivalent about the finale, but I thought you misstated the general reaction.J. Somewhat like a Greek myth: the gods, bored with their immortal lives, manipulating the humans for their enjoyment. The survivors (and the viewers) trying to construct a deeper meaning to everything that happens when in fact there was no deeper meaning, it was just a game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
