An article such as this is not surprising, given the current economic climate in the States. What seems to be a novel decision for the American (ie. the quest for the enrichment of the mind in the institutions of foreign, untamed lands - Canada) may be interpreted as mere human psychology in face of trying economic times. However, I wouldn't expect this trend to prevail in future; when we start hearing a lot less of wealthy, bath-robe clad financiers spending hard earned government cheques on spa-filled days.
